Hello All!

I am going to be installing a Feniex Quantum ILB and 600 Stick with a 4200 Data Link Controller. I am looking for advice for wiring specifically. I understand I need to fuse the power to the controller. Where should I pull power for the lights, from the controller or from the battery directly. Does anyone have any wire size recommendations for the power run? I was leaning towards a 10 or 12 AWG but will gladly hear opinions on others and the reasons behind it.

Thank you in advance!

The wiring gauges will vary depending on the load. The recommended wiring gauges should be included in the instructions for the equipment you listed.

There are also several threads here on elb that discuss gauges/sizing/length/etc.

Typically for LED lights a 10ga from the battery into the cabin (fused properly at the battery) then a distribution block in the cab for any power wires (any wires requiring constant 12v+, usually red). Trigger wires (various or multiple colors) get connected to the controller.
