It is with deep regret I pass along this information: Firefighter Earl J. Shoemaker, 68, a volunteer with the Hanover Fire Department , died this morning while en route to a call. FF Shoemaker suffered a medical emergency in fire apparatus while en route to a structure fire, and was rushed to the hospital, where he later passed. FF Shoemaker is a 40+ year veteran Firefighter.
