I have a Whelen Edge Freedom IV Low Current Series light bar that I am looking to change the flash pattern on.
The entire light bar turns on with one switch, but there are forward facing clear LEDs that come on when the transmission is in Drive.
All of the LEDs are currently flashing Signal Alert and they seem to be synced in pairs (left to right or side by side).
I understand that there are different available flash patterns for the forward facing LEDs (12 patterns), and for the corner LEDs (10 patterns). Without cutting wires and temporarily disconnecting power, there is no way to program them separately.
If I apply 12VDC to the Scan Lock wire will all of the modules simply advance to the next pattern? If I get to pattern 11 on the forward facing LEDs, will the corner LEDs advance back to pattern 1?
